Meet Oscar – the tiny gentleman with a BIG heart!
When Oscar was found as a stray, his fur was so matted he could have passed for a tiny tumbleweed! But after some much-needed TLC and a fresh haircut, this charming Shih Tzu is living his best life in a loving foster home.
Now that he's feeling his best, Oscar's personality is shining! He’s playful, affectionate, and ready to soak up all the love he can get. He’s doing great with his big dog foster siblings and even gets along with cats—talk about a well-mannered little guy!
Oscar is apx. 3 years old. Apply to meet this sweet boy and give him the happily-ever-after he deserves!

Once approved, we will schedule a meet and greet with your household/other pets. If that goes well, we’ll schedule a day to start a 2 week trial! Upon start of the trial, adopter will sign a Foster-to-Adopt contract. After 2 weeks, the adoption will either be finalized or the animal will return to foster.
The adoption fee is $400 to cover spay/neuter, vaccines for a year, microchip, an additional month of flea, tick & heartworm prevention, a complimentary first bath at Splash & Dash Groomerie in Southern Pines, 2 training classes ($120 value) with Marauder K9 and a photoshoot with Bluebird Photography ($100 value).
