Arrival story: Oscar joined Waggin Tails when his family was no longer able to care for him.

Approximate age / Weight: 8 yrs/35 lbs.

Personality: Meet Oscar! A cute little fellow with a charming underbite that is sure to bring a smile to your face. Once Oscar is comfortable in his surroundings, his silly little personality comes shining through. He loves yoga class, walks around the neighborhood, and sprinting laps around the yard.
He's always up for fetching toys in or out of the house, but also enjoys settling in to chew on a benebone or PB Kong. When he’s not playing, he enjoys snuggling up at your feet or getting head scratches or belly rubs. Oscar is a proud graduate of training classes and was a superstar! Oscar enjoys having company but can be a little shy meeting new people outside of the home. He's not a fan of going to the vet but is making good progress with fear-free techniques. He likes playing with the resident dog and racing the neighbor dog along the fence line. Oscar has great house manners and is ready to find his forever family.

Forever home: Oscar prefers the company of adults, so we are looking for an adult-only household for him. Although he enjoys having company, too much foot traffic can overwhelm him, so a quieter household would be best. He really enjoys canine companionship, so a dog pal would be nice; however, he'd likely be fine as the only dog in the home, as well. He really loves zipping around the yard, so a physical fence is preferred. We have not seen Oscar around cats so we don't know how he'd respond.

Contact: Please contact wtdr@waggintailsdogrescue.org with any questions or submit adoption application via our website www.waggintailsdogrescue.org/adoption-application. A Waggin’ Tails Dog Rescue representative will respond shortly.
