Oscar is a 16-pound, ten-year-old Parson Russell Terrier mix and he is quite the rascal. He is all smiles, with giant radar ears, and you cannot wait to get your hands on this little tail-wagging low rider. However, Oscar has other ideas. He has some trust issues and he does not want just anyone up in his business. Oscar is a return to Home Fur Good, and HFG is committed to making sure his next home is a forever home. His home is going to be one with experienced dog owners and no small children. Oscar is tolerant of other dogs and cats; he just does not want a lot of friends in his inner circle. It is hard to say if Oscar has a type; he likes men and women both older and younger, and he dislikes men and women both older and younger. His new family may need to commit to meeting Oscar multiple times to make sure it is a perfect fit for all. Oscar is both house and crate trained, and his previous owners trusted him alone in the home. He has been to obedience training, and his new family will need to be committed to continuing that training and reinforcing that training to make sure it is a happily ever after. The adoption fee is $150 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm.
