Remember when we welcomed Wilbur and Orville to our SCCR family a couple of weeks ago? Well, they are ready for adoption so taking this opportunity to remind you about their story. Their human's last name was actually Wright, but unfortunately he passed away and there was no family able to take them in. They ended up in the shelter, scared and stressed wondering why? Wilbur is the older boy, about 9 years old and Orville is a youngster at 2 years old. These boys were loved pets and being in the shelter put them into a tizzy. The staff even separated them for a bit and Orville because visibly stressed and anxious. The shelter asked us if we could take one or both and we didn't hesitate to say we'll take both. They have been through enough emotional trauma and they need each other. In a perfect world we would love to see them be adopted together. We know they would also prefer that! Even though Wilbur is the more mature boy and generally going to be a bit more chill than Orville, just remember Orville is a 2 year old youngster and will still be acting like a youngster. These boys are fine with other dogs, and will be wonderful companions for the right person.

Wilbur and Orville are a bonded pair and cannot be adopted separately.
