Hi, my name is Oreo. I am a beautiful mix of Husky and Border Collie. I am 4 years old and very loving. My foster parents have given me my very first chance to live in a real home. I am house trained and have learned to climb stairs.
I get along well with my foster parents and their miniature schnauzer. I love going on long walks and seeing a lot of other dogs and people. I seem to like people and other dogs, and I can be very shy and skittish sometimes, but I am getting much better every day.
I would do my best in a very calm home, as I do not have much experience with young children. Maybe if you either are a single person, young couple or senior couple, you would be able to teach me how to be loved and cared for. I am a very good girl, and I want to please you so much.
I love to chill on my big pillow and am curious about my new surroundings. I also love to play with my stuffies and chew toys. I really would love to go to my forever home with a loving couple or single person who would be calm and caring.
I have all my shots, have been microchipped and have been vet checked and spayed.

The adoption fee is $600 and includes spay/neuter (dogs over 6 months), vaccines, heartworm test (dogs over 6 months), deworming, Flea and tick prevention and microchip. Please visit www.paws-united.com to fill out an application.
**For puppies under 6 months a $200 spay/neuter rebate will be given with proof of spay/neuter certificate signed by a vet, if they have not been done prior to adoption.**
**Please note we DO NOT adopt our dogs as outdoor/farm dogs. These dogs are coming to us as stray, roaming or dogs that have lived a life tied to a chain. Our goal is to bring them in the house off the chain and give them a pampered indoor dogs lifestyle. Unless otherwise stated we will not even consider a home that has intentions of leaving our dogs outdoors or tied to a chain**
***We do require every applicant to provide a vet reference and we do follow up with your vet. If you do not currently have a vet as you have no pets, we strongly encourage you to do your research and contact vets to make sure they are accepting new patients. You must have a vet in place before bringing a new dog home. You will be required to give your vet permission to release information to us, we also require two personal references as well that will be contacted. We have policy and procedure in place while screening homes. If a family refuses any step in the process they will not qualify for adoption. We are not currently doing adoptions across the boarder.***
