Meet Oreo

Oreo is one special senior lady. She was in pretty rough shape until Belly Rubs Basset Rescue brought her into the family. Currently residing in West Tennessee with her foster mom, who is lovingly nursing her back to health, she is thriving and loving her new life. Oreo is now recovering from her recent eye surgery, but that is not slowing down her quest for a forever family.

Whatever lucky family takes Oreo home will need lots of love and patience. She is extremely sweet, while being timid. Oreo does like cuddles, but is not quiet sure how to ask for them yet. But if you want to share her favorite past time; The Belly Rub, she will gladly be a part of this affection once she trusts you.

Oreo is known for quick potty breaks and basking in the sun when venturing outside. On most days she is low key and quiet, but this petite girl does perk up and find her "inner puppy" sometimes. She loves her foster kid and is happy around other dogs.

This sweet gal, came from a not so perfect past, and yet she is still open to love and wanting for a furever home. If you love senior babies, and have a tender heart, Oreo will be a perfect fit for your family.
