Meet Oreo
Oreo is a black and white 5 year old male pit bull. This poor guy was surrendered because his family was moving and unable to take Oreo with them. Oreo was obviously disappointed when he found out his move was to the shelter instead of the new home! We've tried our best to assure him that he will find a NEW home but he's seen the statistics and knows there are many, many adult male pit bulls in the area available for adoption. Oreo is hopeful that someone out there will look at him though and realize he is not just another pit bull - he is OREO! And he is SPECIAL and would love to have a family of his own.
Oreo can be tempermental with other dogs so he needs to be the only animal in the house. Oreo would do okay with grown children but not young children. Oreo is hoping that HE can be the baby in the house! Oreo walks well on a leash and is housetrained. He knows how to sit and takes treats very nicely.
