I am now FREE to tell you that... I became a hero, that wants to spend forever MAKING memories, with you!

My name... is Optimus Prime :)

I am a 2-year-old, 46-lb, pitty mix boy. I was found by animal control all alone, and unable to walk, after I was left out to roam and a big scary machine hurt me. I had owners, and I loved them so much, even if I maybe didn't see them very often. But I waited and waited there, just knowing they'd come find me, until I heard they decided to never come back for me once I was found injured and was having trouble walking. Some very special rescuer's then decided to save me from the dark place, and they DID do a lot of pokes and scans to find out what happened to me. How I wish I could have told them.

The good news is - they found out my injuries did not require surgery, and told me I could recover with a little time, a lot of love, and a dash of patience. I'll let you figure out which one of those three I needed most! ♥
I have excelled at my physical therapy and am taking more and more steps with my back legs every day! I have FULL control of going potty and am totally potty-trained! I hold myself up almost always, and am a really tenacious boy and am committed to overcoming my injuries! I am also learning kennel and leash training like the big brain I am!

I could do well in a ground-floor apartment once I learn the leash a little better, but a home with a yard would be the BEST place to store MY data! I am a perfect a"paw"totron with ALL people, cats, and dogs! I have my own robot dinosaur language, too, that I'm jovially teaching my rescuers! I keep their ribs tickled with my hilarious chatty-Kathy-thons! I promise to keep your systems updated with daily giggles, and that all the smooches I have saved up for you will never be password protected :)

I need a little lift assist getting into a car still, but I LOVE rides with my person. I get so excited every day to see how far I have come, and how far I will GO! I would love a patient family willing to help me continue to morph into my recovery!

I found out that, even when the world goes dark, and it feels like no one believes in you... that there is always someone out there, who knows you can TRANSFORM, and, that fate... fate rarely calls upon us at a time of our choosing.
