Meet Opie

This fun loving, adventurous little guy is Opie! We rescued him from the local animal shelter and brought him back to Sanctuary One where he fell right into place with staff, volunteers and the other dogs. He is very laid back for a younger dog but loves to go on walks as well! Beagles in general are even-tempered, gentle, fun-loving, and excitable dogs. They love to be around people and other dogs even if they are of a different breed. They may not sit well with cats at first, but they get used to cats and other smaller pets over time.
