Meet Opal

Opal - do you remember the first time we met? You looked like somebody I wanna know And Opal - do you remember when I saw your face And I told myself don't let this one go - from 'Opal' by Sophie Schorr Opal is a fun-loving energetic 9-month-old McNab Border Collie/Lab mix currently weighing 45 and will likely not get much bigger. As is common to both her breed mixes, she is very playful and energetic so she will require an equally playful and energetic family (no couch potatoes for this little girl). She is already crate trained, doing wonderful with house training, and is always ready to go for a walk on leash. Opal loves everyone she meets, and she adores kids but due to her energy level, older kids would be better. She is super friendly when meeting other dogs, perhaps a little too friendly as she is immediately ready to engage in play. She has met a couple of cats and although she likely would not harm a cat, she would without a doubt chase them. For the sanity of any cat, she would be better suited to a cat free home. We don't want to skip over Opal's affectionate side. She does love to cuddle up when it's time to settle down. She is definitely a really fun youngster who still needs a little more training and guidance, but she is well worth every single second. Her new family will hopefully shower her with lots of toys and balls...she will play with and adore each and every one. Opal enjoys playing in water, she loves to go for rides in the car, and she's open to any new adventure she can share with you. Opal is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and micro chipped. She's ready to meet and move in with her new forever loving family in her new forever home. You will no doubt forever remember your first meeting with Opal and quickly decide she is a pup you want to know and have in your life.
