Born a stray and raised in a pack of dogs outside an auto shop, Onyx didn’t know the warmth of a home or the touch of a loving hand—until just a few weeks ago. Since being rescued, he’s been taking small, brave steps toward trusting people and learning what it means to be safe.
He’s naturally very calm, a bit shy, and rarely barks—just a few times when he's outside. He’s kennel trained, enjoys the company of other well-mannered dogs, and has even met cats.
What Onyx Needs:
A calm, patient adopter who understands the beauty of earning a dog's trust. Someone who can continue to nurture his confidence and help him bloom into the happy, loyal companion he’s meant to be.
