Introducing Onyx, the sleek black shepherd-retriever mix who’s as ready for your family adventures as she is to win the title of Miss Congeniality at the local doggy meet-up. At 60 lbs, this three-year-old pup is your go-to partner for everything from backyard BBQs to marathon training sessions, assuming your marathon includes lots of pit stops for sniffing and greeting every two-legged and four-legged fan she meets.
Onyx's foster reports she’s a blend of medium to high energy, which means she's always up for a hike but can also spend a Sunday afternoon chilling in the yard (provided there’s enough room for an impromptu game of fetch). She hasn’t met a cat, considers herself an open-minded individual, and is holding off on feline opinions until given proper introductions.
When it comes to her social calendar, Onyx is as versatile as they come. She loves kids, tolerates her alone time like a champ, but truly thrives when she’s part of the action. Whether it’s a picnic, a park, or a party, Onyx is your gal. Just don’t mention dog parks; she prefers her socializing a bit more curated, like a VIP event where she knows all the dogs on the guest list.
