Meet Onyx! She has been lovingly cared for over 7 years, but sadly, her original owner passed away. Her current caregiver recently suffered a stroke and must move somewhere she cannot take Onyx. So, it is time for Onyx to find another home where she will continue to receive the care and love she needs.
Onyx is best described as friendly, loyal, and energetic. She loves to be close to someone, and greets children, adults, and other dogs with excitement. She enjoys long walks and playing fetch. She needs to get in her exercise every day, so be sure to make time for physical activities with her. Onyx also enjoys car rides. Of course, she won’t complain if they end with a walk and a game of fetch!
Rope toys and balls are Onyx’s favorites. And don’t even get her started on her enthusiasm about food! She is very food motivated, and you can use this to your advantage as you work on adding to her command roster of “sit,” “stay,” and “no”. Onyx is a very special girl, and nothing will stop her from living her best life! With the right guidance and love, you can keep her happy, healthy, and safe. Then Onyx will be your loyal companion for life.
