Meet Ollie
Welcome Ollie! He was brought to a local city shelter after it was reported that his family could no longer care for him. Ollie came into our care pretty skinny and having some muscle wasting on his hind end. He had full bloodwork, fecal test and X-rays and to our surprise everything was completely normal! We will be putting much needed weight on Ollie and feel we will continue to see improvements!
We know Ollie is a very goofy boy and appears to be pretty young around one to two years of age. He is a chocolate lab and currently about 75 pounds but definitely should weigh anywhere from 85 to 90 pounds. He does jump and is a little mouthy so we are recommending children over the age of 10 as he will knock younger children over. He will be working on these behaviors in foster care. He does enjoy the company of other dogs. He actually is learning so much from his 3 foster siblings and would do best with a dog companion. He does not seem to like Cats as he has met a few and will bark at them so we are recommending a home without Cats.
Ollie will be neutered, microchip, dewormed, updated on all core vaccines, heartworm tested, and started on flea and tick and heartworm prevention prior to adoption.
