Meet Olivia
These sweet girls are Olivia and Francine - a lovely, bonded pair that must be adopted together. They are 3 year old American Pit Bull Terriers, weighing in at 46 and 48 pounds. While these girls love each other very much, they are not interested in being friends with other dogs. They have a high prey drive when the encounter small animals on walks, so they probably need a cat free home too.
Olivia (aka Nala) and Francine (aka Mercedes) are big bundles of joy! Their foster mama says that they will shower you with plenty of love and affection. Olivia (two apricot patches around her eyes) loves to cuddle and wants desperately to sleep right beside you each night, even sharing a pillow if you'll let her! Francine (one blue patch around her eye) is very gentle and also loves a good cuddle session. She's very laid back and is content to do her own thing during the day. While Francine would also love to share your bed, she is equally as happy sleeping on her own bed.
Both girls tend to be spooked by loud noises outside or if they hear people yelling, so they would like a fairly quiet home and no young kids - probably best if kids in the home are over the age of 12 years. They are both house trained and their foster mama doesn't crate them when she's gone. The girls are very easy to walk together, that is until you run into another dog or a bunny...but you should be able to correct this with patience and consistent training. They know sit and will come when you call or whistle for them. They are slowly learning what toys are and how to play with them, but love their bones and share very nicely!
Their minimum adoption fee is $315 for the pair, plus a $12 fee per dog for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
