Oliver Australian Shepherd Mix Troy, IL

Oliver Walter is a special boy. This 3-year-old handsome pup is mostly Australian shepherd and Great Dane with a smidge of Lab and hound thrown in to make him perfect. Oliver can be very playful, but he also values a little alone time. He's not being aloof; he just likes to observe his surroundings. When he wants some cuddle time, he definitely will ask for snuggles.

Oliver loves walks in the park, runs in the field, and peanut butter and Pup Cups. He can be curious and a little shy. He has a moderate energy level, but if he gets a chance to run, he'll gallop and frolic with glee. He can be a goofball and will play football with his blanket, hiking it between his legs when you say, Hut! Hut! Hike!

Oliver is blind in one eye which only affects his ability to catch.. When it's time to relax, he will seek out his bed for a good nap. He is housetrained and will ring a bell by the door when he needs to go outside. He's not a fan of crates or swimming.

Oliver is very adaptable. He doesn't need someone home all day, but he will certainly expect sweet attention and love. He'd prefer a fenced-in yard for all his adventures. He gets along well with other dogs that aren't aggressive or too assertive. He knows sit, down, wait, easy, and by me when walking at your side. He is a very quick learner and very eager to please. He's done well with kids and cats and is ready to find his forever family.
