Just look at that face! It’s quite distinguished for a 3 year old pug mix. It’s the face of a dog that says, “can I sleep on the couch and cuddle with you? How about some belly rubs in between?” It’s the face of Oliver, aka Ollie.

Once upon a time, Ollie was a stray on the streets of Chicago. But now, he is learning the ropes of being a family pet, and he’s doing pretty well. So far Ollie has discovered the joys of children! Yes, children. He LOVES kids and couldn’t care less about other canine companions. He doesn’t mind other dogs, but he’d rather be playing and cuddling with kids than tugging on a rope with a dog. He has learned that being a family pet means that couches, chairs, beds….basically anything that a human sits on is more comfortable than a dog bed. Good boy, Ollie!

He hasn’t quite got the hang of going potty outside, but he’s working on it. Give him fruit and he will try anything. He’s such a health nut! Must be how he stays a fit 23 pounds because Ollie’s perfect day would be to sleep, cuddle, repeat. His foster mom describes him as a total potato that snores like a chainsaw!
