Oliver is a sweet and active little Schnauzer mix, about 1.5 years old. This little boy has already had quite an interesting life: He came to us the first time around when he was rescued along with his momma and sister. They all quickly found homes as did Oliver, but unfortunately, his adoptive family’s living situation changed drastically, forcing them to surrender this little boy back to us.

Oliver is just a joy to be around with, he is sweet, affectionate, and LOVES to play. It takes him a little while to warm to new environments, but once he relaxes, he becomes a sweet pie. He bonds strongly with all member of his family, and this brings out his protective side, he shows his guarding instincts to any stranger who enters his home. While he isn’t aggressive, he is vocal and fearless.

Although Oliver does great with kids, we believe that his ideal home would be an active home without small kids and a playful dog of similar size, he wants to protect his family and lots of visiting kids stress him out a bit.
