Olive is a 3-year-old, 52-pound Beagle mix with a heart full of love and a strong desire to be the center of your world. She’s spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative—healthy, happy, and ready for her forever home!

She’s 100% house trained and crate trained, though she’s also trustworthy enough to roam freely when supervised. Olive knows basic commands and is eager to please—she’s a smart, affectionate girl who bonds deeply with her humans.

Olive would thrive in a quiet home where she doesn’t have to compete for attention. She prefers to be the only pet and would do best without small children, as she enjoys a calm, predictable environment where she can soak up all your love.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will be your shadow, your snuggle buddy, and your biggest fan—Olive is ready to meet you.

**Please do not use the "Introduce Yourself" feature. The information needed to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application. An inquiry, question, or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application. All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention. Please see our website for more information.

2025 Adoption Fee Scale for non-benefactor animals:
Puppies under 12 months - $400
Dogs over 12 months - $300


*Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters across the South, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our animals live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match!
