Olaf is an incredibly smart and active Border Collie mix who is ALWAYS up for a job or a fun-filled adventure. Olaf needs a new home/caretaker without children and with ample land to run on. He is highly trained, a loyal friend who loves to explore the world around him, learn new skills, and keep up with an active companion!
Olaf is 2.5 years old (60lbs) and in excellent health. He's friendly and social, extremely loyal, and highly trained. He is instinct-tested for sheep herding by Trudy Vicklund and also excels at agility (basic skills). He's playful, smart, silly, and loves to learn. He loves playing with other dogs and thrives at nature boarding and daycare.Â
Olaf is the perfect dog for someone who has experience with high drive dogs, is passionate about training, and is excited to provide him the level of activity he needs to feel fulfilled. Whether you're interested in agility, sheep-herding, frisbee, hiking, or trick training, Olaf will amaze you with how fast he can learn and reach new levels. He is also very affectionate and will be thrilled to curl up with you in the evenings after a day of work and play. He has a strong "off-switch" and knows how to relax in between activities.
