Ody Wirehaired Terrier & Beagle Mix Springfield, MO

Like a pup chasing after a home run ball, my journey from a park bench in Springfield to finding a forever team will tug at your heartstrings. I'm Ody, your all-star 9 month old wirehaired terrier/beagle mix, weighing in at a solid 35 pounds of pure enthusiasm! My journey began tied to a park bench in Springfield, but now I'm ready to hit a home run with the right family. I may be a rookie, but I'm working hard on my house, crate, and leash game. I am learning commands like a champ and already know sit, stay and paw/shake. I'm a chatty player on the field, and I never stop moving. I love to play, but I admit, I'm a bit jittery around new things. And when it comes to other dogs, I prefer teammates that are my size. Anything larger, and I put on my defensive play. I get along just fine with kiddos, but watch out for my boundless energy—I might knock the littlest fans over in my excitement. My ideal home will have a fenced yard and a patient, loving family who's willing to work with me on my training and help me build my confidence. No apartments. With the right team behind me, I'll become the MVP of your heart.

I am currently enrolled in the Pups for Parole training program. Upon graduation, I will have all the basic training necessary to make a great companion. I will need a family willing to continue my training, I sure don't want to forget all that I learned!

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
