Odin is a big happy boy! Not to mention a stunner with light, full-of-life eyes! After being in his kennel for longer than an energetic boy would like, he was bursting at the seams with exuberance and playful energy and is looking for a home to match! Odin happily allowed us to leash him up and take him for a stroll and was thrilled to be able to run and play in the yard. We have walked him with multiple different dogs, young, old, male, female, calm and bouncy, he did so well with them all. Odin is still on the younger end of adulthood and sometimes lets his zest for life get the better of him. He needs someone willing to continue building his understanding of boundaries through training and exercise. Odin gets excited and overly bouncy sometimes which leads him to forget not to jump up on people. He is an amazing and beautiful dog that just hasn’t been given the chance to learn. We think Odin will flourish in an active home as he so obviously aims to please. He quickly learned to sit for a treat with us in a short period of time and looked to us for direction constantly. If you seeking an adventure buddy for hikes or runs, this may be your man! We will update once we are able to test him with other dogs but he did not show any aggression when walking by the other excited dogs hoping it was their turn for attention on our way outside.
