It was freezing cold in the mountains in January and food was hard to come by. There is no sight of this young puppy’s mother around the area, so the volunteer decided to settle this friendly little guy into foster home. Odie was very affectionate and close to people, there is a good chance for him to find a forever home. Without hesitation, we signed him up for our overseas adoption program.

Please watch Odie’s YouTube videos below:
Odie met a male stranger 5/20/2025
https://youtube.com/shorts/dr_Gujwz95k?si=op_72Wb22g_H6nMZ

Odie with cats (curious) 8/8/2025
https://youtu.be/IWnBuN_SMPI?si=zjwW03SLGbZ2_8mJ
Odie with cats (calm) 8/9/2025
https://youtu.be/r8fV7cZ7DHs?si=Nmbj8QwDbeXNlXFM

Odie met a girl 8/9/2025
https://youtu.be/z4URgAN4x1A?feature=shared

Odie met a boy 8/9/2025
https://youtu.be/wNcfC-m4e2s?si=gVwFxH1SHppD2HK-

Odie has no food aggression toward ppl 9/13/25
https://youtu.be/v_zJakEm8Ik?si=u9pucHcouM2drv1y

Odie met female stranger at dog park 9/15/2025
https://youtu.be/Y1WGKmzDoc0?si=BOhBOZbk7iUNxQss

Odie walks on leash at park?9/15/2025
https://youtube.com/shorts/_ji_4g2xm7E?si=1HFMgZypP3N-Dbhc

Temperaments:
- SOCIALIZATION -
Social inclination: Enjoys being around humans and dogs
People/Children-friendly: YES
Gets along with cats: Curious, but would stay calm and keep distance
Gets along with outside dogs: Yes
- ANXIETY -
Skittish: NO
Fear of men: NO
Barks when unattended: No (very quiet)
Chews things up when unattended: Crate trained (loves toys, rawhide bones, etc.)
- AGGRESSION -
Biting incidents: NO
Food aggression with dogs: No (never fight over food with other dogs)
Food aggression with humans: No
- DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES -
Energy level: Medium
House trained: potty outside of the house
Leash-trained: Yes
Commands learned: sit?down?hand?change hand?wait
Adapts in new environments? 3-5 days
Dog gets to go out with foster family in a day: 3-4 times/ day (lives in apartment)
Good in car: Yes
