Meet Odie

Odie has spent most of his life with one family but has been passed between various family members. Odie came into rescue due to a housing eviction. At the time, Odie's ears were severely infected and his skin was a mess. After multiple ear treatments and medicated skin baths, Odie is feeling and acting like a new dog! We suspect Odie was not socialized at his original home and he cautiously meets other dogs his size. He does not do well with larger dogs or high energy dogs. Odie definitely prefers men. Odie needs an experienced male handler who has a calm energy and a quiet home. In high stress situations, Odie becomes very fearful. At home on a normal day, he is loving and affectionate, loves to snuggle next to you or play with his toys. He can entertain himself but likes to be close to his person.
