Meet Ochoa

Hi I'm Ochoa....in Basque language it means "the wolf". I'm called that because Im the biggest brother of the 5 pack and I am the calm, sweet one as well! ...my human mommy says that I am the very best boy of all of our tribe and she loves how sweet and calm I am!

I come from an area just over the border of Tecate, Mexico. Our family line was most likely used for illegal breeding and somehow we got crossed with what we think is a very large shepherd mix...based on how fast we grew these last 4 months. :-)

I'm vowed patient with my tribe as well as the malinois mix shepherd litter that were born just before us. But mainly my favorite pastime is going on our pack hike with our human momma. She loves us tooooooo much and she tells us every day how wonderful we are!

We have been around the coolest cat in the world. He has these cerelean blue eyes and he acts exactly like a dog...so we really will do well if you have a cat or any other dogs since we have been raised in a little zoo and our breeds are both very docile with all humans, other animals (except Coyotes) ....Yes, we like kiddos too and would love to grow up with our little human person.

True to our breed we are already showing the signs of the Pyranneas hearding and protection. We innately watch and protect...sometimes we do get confused if crows and butterflies are an imminent threat...but Poochie Mom tells us to "chill"...so we are working on loving all creatures great and small.

We took our time and our doggie mommy spoiled us, so we nursed for 3 months...but now we loooooove our puppy food! Its so delicious and we have terrible table manners...so we will need to practice gently food time once we are separated from our litter and shepherd friends.

Ive had my first round of shots and Poochie Mom has dewormed us with Panacur and Strongid every 2-4 weeks. She is the poo Nazi and says we have good poos...and we are getting fat. We think she's so funny when she talks about "poo"....Hee hee! :)

Also, to get this right out of the way. We do pretty much "snow" year around. But Poochie Mom says it's cathartic to brush us and that she could probably knit a sweater out of our beautiful hair. It's our time to bond and groom and we just want you to know that we love to be brushed...it's like an awesome doggie massage!

We are going to miss our moms and friends so much...but we are getting very excited to have a family of our very own that will love us for our long long lives....hopefully 18-20 years.

My neuter is already set for my 6th month in Twin Bridges and prepaid through Poochie Mom...so you will need to understand you are signing a contract to get us there. Its one of the most important days of my life...so we can be sure I will not have to have puppies and add to the very sad situation of so many euthanized pets every year. I love all my furry friends and Poochie Mom too much to ever betray them.

I hope my eyes and story speak to you and that as you read this your heart is telling you that you can't live without me. If so....please send us a note through Petfinder and we will direct you to our fancy new website!

It has been a very hard year for our Poochie Mom and us and we have had to deal with a lot of very mean people, so please understand that our new guardian angels that protect PM and us will only answer serious inquiries. If you write at least a paragraph about what you can offer me as a home, it will be responded to right away because we will be able to see your heart in the words that you write about your past and current pets and your family.

So, I will say "hasta pronto" for now and please read the rules that Poochie Mom asked me to attach. She says that the universe has a beautiful plan on bringing us and you together and we will all know when it's the right fit.
.......................................................................
If you are interested in meeting one of our Snow Flurry Pack, please make sure of the following:

1. You are able to adopt a dog that will be around 65-80 lbs, full grown

2. That you understand that this will be another member of your family to be adored by all for the next years.;A fur child to be exact!

3. That this pup will preferably sleep in the bed with your children, grandchildren or yourself, once they are fully potty trained.

We are a non profit organization and are dedicated to ALL breeds and mixes. We believe in nurture vs. nature 100%.

If you have gotten beyond the soulful eyes of Ochoa and have laughingly checked off each of her requirements....please contact us. ;We would love to meet you!

If you are ready to welcome a new baby into your life and would like to meet our one of a kind Ochoa please email Wendy at Poochiemomma123@gmail.com. Please write a little about why he caught your eye and what your living situation is.

Most importantly, thank you for considering adopting vs buying a pet! ;You people make the world a better place. ;And, we all know mutts make the best family members anyway-right?

The adoption donation/fee for puppies is $400 and includes spay/neuter surgery, first round of shots, microchip, deworming and current flea treatment. ...just to get everyone off to the right start!

And we only recommend organic food that can easily be found in most pet stores now. It has been proven to be the healthiest choice for overall weight gain and great health in all our shelter rescue pets!
