Meet Oars
Oars is part of the Lifesavers Initiative Program, which means she needs to get out of the shelter as soon as possible due to her stress level. Oars has NEVER been out of the shelter and she deserves a chance
Oars is an itsy bitsy, teeny weeny, little baby angel (at just 36 pounds!). She was found emaciated and brought to the shelter about a month and a half ago. Initially terrified, she has blossomed into a snuggle bug who adores being belly up on a couch, loves walks (as long as she has a nice warm sweater on!), and is very food motivated and eager to please.
She can be apprehensive about new people, but with a little cheese she loves EVERYONE. While she gets plenty of food and snacks from all her shelter friends, she is still all skin and bones and you can see her little spine and hip bones jut out. Poor girl needs a soft, cozy bed in a home.
What we do know about Oars:
extremely affectionate little snuggle bug who loves giving kisses
easy walker! non reactive on walks
cheese monster! eager to please so already very trainable, but toss her some cheese, and you're her bestie
dog selective. She came in with another dog and was friendly but forward when she was dog tested at the shelter! Would likely succeed with slow intros.
OARS, female, about 2 yo and 36 pounds, tiny angel
