What is HOPE FOR ANIMALS’s adoption process?

To be considered as an adopter, you must: Fill out an adoption application Be 21 years of age or older Have identification showing your present address Have the knowledge and consent of your landlord if you are renting or leasing Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, veterinary care and proper care for a pet Agree to a home visit prior adoption If you are applying for a pitbull, pitbull mix or american bulldog or any type of bully breed, you must own your home and have a 6 foot fence. We will NOT adopt any bully breed if you reside in Commerce City, Lone Tree or Ft. Lupton. We do not adopt any bully breeds out of the State of Colorado. We will only consider an out of state adoption for a rescue pet other than a bully breed if a home visit and transportation can be arranged. Adoption Fees We only accept payment of adoption fees through our website or cash Puppies 6 months and younger $400 Dog 7 months and older $350 ALL rescue pets will be spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccinations and will be microchipped.
