Meet Nyx
If standoffish, jittery "project dogs" are your jam, you're in luck! Say hi to Maeve and Nyx! These timid ladies are scared of their own shadows but are very eager to trust people...they just need to work up the courage.
We don't know what life was like for these girls before arriving at the pound, but they were found on a backroad in Prospect, presumably dumped. They definitely have some abandonment trauma and are completely terrified of change, and they will need some time and space to cope when moving into their new homes.
We are looking for separate homes for them, as Nyx is very dominant over Maeve, causing scuffles and tension and we don't think they would do well living together.
If you'd like to meet Nyx or Maeve, please let us know! It might take more than one visit before they're comfortable enough to go home with you, but we know they're worth it.
