Meet Nyla!
Nyla is a 2 year old, 50 pound black lab mix who is fully vetted and crate and potty trained.
Nyla is a sweet, soulful girl who has had a tough start in life but is slowly learning what it means to be loved. Found as a stray and spending eight months in a shelter without much attention, Nyla is now thriving in her foster home with the help of patient humans and furry companions.
This gentle soul is learning to trust humans at her own pace, and it's been heartwarming to see her little victories. She recently discovered the joy of playing with toys and absolutely adores them! Nyla is a quiet girl, but she surprised everyone when she let out her first bark-though she mostly prefers to stay silent and observant.
Nyla has started to enjoy the company of other dogs and will need a canine sibling in her forever home to help her continue building confidence. She's also living peacefully with a cat in her foster home. While she's still mastering leash walking, a securely fenced yard will be essential for her.
Nyla is crate-trained, lets you know when she needs to go outside, and is a couch potato at heart. She loves snuggling up to watch TV and is a big fan of chewing on bones. Because of her shy nature, Nyla would thrive in a quiet, patient home without young children.
