MY STORY
Hey folks, sorry about the long wait on getting to hear my story. Things have been a bit crazy lately. I mean, I went from having a home, to not having a home, then to a foster home, and it has all been quite the whirlwind! The good news is though, that I am now ready to find my furever family and I hope they are going to love me just as much as I will them! I came into rescue after my owners could no longer keep me. You see, they had this grouchy dog who did not like me and was always getting on to me. It just was not a good situation so they wanted to find me a safe place that would help me find the PYRfect home and that is how I ended up here.
ABOUT ME
My name is Nyla and I am a 4.5 month old female Great Pyrenees mix. I currently weigh about 33lbs, and will probably top out somewhere in the 70-80lb range. Here is what my foster says about me
"Nyla is shy when she first meets new people and other dogs but warms up fast. She has a laid back personality for a puppy. Loves to hang out with you especially if she can nab your chair.
She likes to patrol the puppy yard and will bark at the other dogs or strange noises, if left outside long enough she will dig herself a nice hole to play in."
I am good with other dogs, cats, and kids. I am also potty trained. My foster does not kennel though, and I am baby gated to the dining room area when no one is home or at night. I can be pretty shy when entering a new home, and because of this I do need another dog in my new home. They help me feel secure and bring me out of my shell. I would also like a calmer home, I think a really busy and active one would be a little too much for me.

My adoption fee is $275 and that will include two sets of puppy shots and wormings, bordatella, rabies, spay, and micro-chip. I will also be current on my heart-worm and flea/tick prevention.
WHERE AM I BEING FOSTERED
I am being fostered in Sand Springs, OK. If you are out of state, we will adopt to you as long as you can pick me up. This rescue does not send us on transports or ship us.
