Nya is full of love and ready to give it to her new forever home. She came from a kill shelter in Alabama and has a new shot at life. She loves to play fetch with all kinds of toys, balls or anything you will throw for her. Expect to play from first thing in the morning, to when you go to bed and she will lay next to you in bed. If you lean your head too close, you'll get covered in kisses. She loves to be outside, as well as car rides (especially pup cups from Starbucks). She is great on a leash, but she does love to smell. She needs redirection every now and then. She is an incredibly special dog, and you will be lucky to have her in your life! She would prefer to be in a home as an only dog even though she does get along with her foster brother. However unknown dogs she's unsure of and will bark or growl. We believe simple behavior training will make her respond appropriately.

Nya is a little unsure of new people the first few seconds, but once she sees you are there to give nothing but love, she is all about it. Especially if you throw her ball.

Nya is utd on vaccinations, spayed/microchipped and on flea and hw prevention. Nya is currently 85 lbs and approximately 6 yrs old. She is also on thyroid medication which she'll be on for the rest of her life. She is currently taking Thyro-Tabs Canine, 120 ct Rx
0.7 mg from Walmart PetRx - $24.04 every 2 months.
She isn't a fan of cats and we believe she would be fine with mature kids.

All communication is thru email so please be patient with us. We are all volunteers and work full time jobs and have families of our own.

It takes anywhere between 3-7 days to process an application - the more complete the application the easier it is for us to process it. Please notify your vet that we will be contacting them and to release information to us.
