Nutz's Story

Welcome Nutz to CCPAL Rescue. Nutz is a 3-year-old Chug (Chihuahua/Pug). He weighs about 12 pounds and is full grown and a nice weight. This dog came from the hoarder or overabundance of dog situation. He is a quieter dog and likes to be held. He is definitely a lap companion. He is playful with other dogs and has the sturdy body of the Pug. He would love to be a companion for a person that is retired, partially retired or maybe someone with a household that is more quiet and wants a dog with a lower energy to join in. He would be ok with a smaller condo size yard. He is learning leash manners and getting used to commotion of the Rescue. He hasn’t experienced a lot of different things so he isn’t sure yet but he is really really nice. He is not a big shedding dog. He is fine with nail trims and baths and will make some lucky family a great companion. I would say anyone moderately active would be fine for this dog. He bonds deeply and he warms up with affection nicely. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is getting vaccinations, neutered and he will be ready for his forever home soon. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
