Nutmeg Hound Mix Oklahoma City, OK

Meet Nutmeg, an approximately 7lb (estimated 50lb fully grown), female, hound mix who was born approximately October 2021 and became a Misfit when she was rescued from poor living conditions. This pet is spayed, up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, heart-worm negative, and micro-chipped!

Nutmeg is still a young puppy and spent the first several weeks of her life outdoors. She is not potty trained but is learning. She will require routine and continued training. She does sleep in a kennel at night but will need to be coaxed into the crate with a treat. She is not leash trained and has not started to learn commands yet but she is food motivated and should be a quick learner.

Nutmeg is great with other dogs and cats. She is timid and shy at first but after proper introductions she will play with even the biggest dogs. She is a medium energy level and would do great with any dog willing to play with her. Nutmeg does not currently live with any children but she should do well with them.

Nutmeg can be shy but once she warms up she loves to snuggle! She is also very playful and enjoys crinkly plush toys. She is not a noisy dog but she will let you know when she wants out of her kennel and is starting to alert when she needs outside as well. Sometimes she just circles by the back door and hopes you notice though. She’s a smart puppy and should do really well with any routine after a few days.
