Meet Nutmeg

Hi, I'm Nutmeg! I'm a 2 year old chiweenie and I'm currently a perfect 9 pounds. My life before rescue was pretty rough and when I joined the family, you could see my hip bones, ribs, and entire spine! It's taken a couple months, but I'm 100% healthy, love having regular meals, and show my foster family how much I appreciate them by giving them all my sweet love and cuddles.

I'm a bit shy when I first meet someone new, but I quickly warm up and become a total love bug. I've always lived with other small dogs, so ideally, my forever home will have another playful pup. I even have kitty siblings in my foster home and I do well with them too! I'm pretty much an easy-going girl who wants a loving forever home that will take me for walks, play with me, snuggle me on the couch, and make me a part of the family.

I'm spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and heart worm negative. I'm house-trained, dog-door trained, and crate trained. My adoption fee is $375. For the chance to adopt me, please complete an application at happytailsaz.org.
