Nugget - Fostered in KC Beagle Shawnee Mission, KS

Nugget is an approximately 1-year-old or so, smaller male beagle. He tops out maybe at 20 lbs. He was rescued by BBRH from a puppy mill in Oklahoma along with 36 other dogs and puppies. Check out his beautiful eyes and those ears! They compliment his very soft white, choclate and tan fur!! He is still learning how to be a dog. After being in a puppy mill, he is still very puppyish and learning toys are fun and so is running around in the snow. Nugget does well with other dogs, loves to play, just needs to learn his boundaries with other dogs. We don't know how he would be with cats.

Nugget is still a little skittish with adults and loud noises, so it might take him a bit to get comfortable with small kids. Since he is puppyish, he still likes to chew, so having chew toys around is a must have. He is still working on house training, stairs, and will need training on a leash. He seems to be smart and open to training since he learned how to use a doggy door. He is a true beagle and is motivated by food. Nugget is high energy and would a furever home that gives him plenty of activities and attention.
