Crate Trained: Nova is working on being calm in her kennel when the foster parents are at work. She was injuring herself in a wire kennel trying to get out and has escaped from a standard plastic crate. She is currently using an alcatraz style kennel.

Energy Level: Low to medium. With regular walks she is very calm around the house.

Reaction to New People: Nova is friendly and calm meeting new people.

Kid Friendly: Yes, she is not regularly around kids currently but has had positive encounters.

Training: Nova knows sit and shake. She is usually treat motivated but can lose interest at times. She mimics what her foster brother does and has been learning from him.

Grooming Needs: Standard husky coat.

Fence: Nova respects the boundaries of a 4 foot chain link fence.

Solo or Siblings: We feel that Nova would thrive with a sibling. Nova seems more at ease when another dog is around.

From the Foster: Nova is a such a sweet and mellow husky! She is usually found lounging around the house but is always ready for an adventure when the opportunity is there! She enjoys being around people and just wants love from everyone. She has done great on outings with us including going on hikes, to breweries and BBQs, and hanging out at the office. She loves car rides and is quick to lay down and take a nap. Nova has a high prey drive and is still working on passing dogs and ignoring critters on walks. She still has to gain a few pounds but is small and mighty pup. She is ready to find her furever home and share all her love!
