Nova is best described as an extremely loyal girl who is a champion snuggler. Being a 75 lbs. Shepherd, she may look a bit intimidating but she is a super softy with a sweet disposition. Mind you, she will give a loud warning bark when she hears strange noises! Nova loves being with her people, gets excited when they wake up in the morning and eagerly greets them when they come home. She is great with the resident teenagers but due to her size is best with older kids.

Nova gets along well with other dogs and is quite playful. She loves playing freely in a fenced yard but has not had much experience walking on leash. She is a good listener who knows basic commands. Reminders are needed if Nova tries to counter surf or jump up to greet people.

This girl is well trained and has not had any accidents in her foster home.

Nova is a happy girl with one exception. She does not like going to see a vet and barks to show it.
