Norman Black Labrador Retriever Mix LOXAHATCHEE, FL

Hi everyone, Norman here. I was rescued in South Carolina and have come to Big Dog Ranch Rescue to find my FURever home! I am a 2-year-old large and lively Lab mix who enjoys long walks on my leash and getting lots of attention from my (adult) human friends. I am all smiles when I am out with my people. Unfortunately, I don't understand those cats and when I chase them, I get scolded... so, no feline friends for me! But I sure hope my cute face and cheerful personality can win you over. I am very treat motivated and need to learn NOT to be grabby for them. "Black Dog Syndrome is a phenomenon where black dogs are passed over for adoption in favor of lighter-colored animals. isn't that silly!? Pups like me can wait a long time at a rescue and I have so much to offer! Yes, I am high energy! So, I need someone who can keep up with my energy level. I need my person to engage and interact with me. Get me some doggy puzzles to make me think. I love those Kongs to chew. I am wishing on a lucky star my special person will find me soon. Don't be afraid of a Black Dog, ADOPT one like me!
