Meet Norman

Meet Norman! This handsome boy was rescued from Chicago Animal Control after being found as a stray. He’s about 2 years old and weighs in at 75, though he needs a few more lbs on him. Norman is mostly quiet in his crate and will go in on his own. He needs work on his leash skills and to understand the purpose of walks! Norman has been fine around other dogs but has not been cat tested. He does good with most handling and quickly has learned the sit command. Norman does need an adoptive family willing to bring him to training to help guide him through life. It seems he hasn’t had much direction from humans and lacks engagement. Norman will try to push doors open and jump up on you when he goes outside, which we feel is due to him being nervous/unsure. With training and some consistency this boy will blossom into a great dog!
