Welcome to ACDRA, Norman the North Carolinian Cuddle Dog!
Norman started out with a family of his own before being surrendered to a county shelter along with his cattle-dog baby mama and their pups. He is a 2 year old, mixed-breed, with hound behaviors and characteristics. He is 55 pounds, medium energy and he hasn’t met a dog or human he hasn’t LOVED. He’d make an ideal family companion. He is interested in whatever his humans are doing, whether it be napping on the couch (he’s a fabulous cuddler), dancing to music (he dances too!) or going for a long walk. Norman does have a high prey drive so he would do best in a home without cats or other small animals. He is potty-trained, knows basic commands and is highly food-motivated. He has crate-anxiety but does well when left loose in the house. Another plus: he rarely barks! He is microchipped, neutered, HW(-) and up to date on his vaccinations. He’s currently being fostered in MA.
