Noodle Jack - fostered in Lincoln NE Hound & Great Pyrenees Mix Shawnee Mission, KS

Meet Noodle Jack! Jack was part of a litter of 7 found living under a shed in Southern Missouri during a bitter cold snap. Luckily for the family, the finders contacted BBRH and he made his way to Omaha in January 2023. Mom was a red heeler/Jack Russel mix who weighs about 45 pounds. Dad, we suspect was a Great Pyrenees.

Jack is now full grown and weighs about 64 pounds. He is working on learning basic commands and has become an expert at sit. He is also working on not pulling while walking on a leash.

He loves getting as much attention as possible including belly scratches. Running around the yard is another one of his favorite activities, especially if you play his favorite game of tag. Another favorite game he loves to play is chasing his tail (sometimes even his leg!).

He is not kenneled during the day but is gated in an area of his foster parent's house where he does very well during the day while they work from home. He is quiet and sleeps or plays with toys.

Jack is not the biggest fan of the resident female dog who is the alpha dog of the household but he does get along with the resident male dog. He finds the resident cat a mystery and is unsure what she's all about. Jack does need to be fed separately if around other animals as he will food guard.

He has not been around kids much but would likely be fine around older children. He is potty trained, microchipped, and up to date on shots. He would love to keep you company and hang out with you. His favorite position to sleep is upside down.
