Nolani Australian Kelpie & Australian Shepherd Mix Pass Christian, MS

Are you looking for a best friend? Nolani is honestly the sweetest dog I've ever known. She has been with me as a foster for about 3 months. Her history must have been scary because she was the most frightened dog I've ever seen in the shelter. She is still timid, especially in new places. She is fearful of a harsh tone or loud volume. It takes time to earn her trust. But once you do, oh she is just THE BEST DOG EVER! She is quiet, gentle, extremely smart, loyal, perfect size (about 30 pounds), silky coat, and hardly sheds. She loves all other dogs, ignores cats, good with children as long as they are kind. We even had a blue jay we raised from a nestling that would come and go at will, sometimes landing on Nolani's back! We have 3 other dogs she gets along with very well, but I think she would be very happy to be the only dog too.

We won't send her on transport to the NE because we think over 24 hours in a van would be too scary for her. She either gets adopted locally (Mississippi Gulf Coast area) by someone who can meet her at my house or in Nashville because we can drive her there ourselves.

If you have a noisy house or lots of loud guests, Nolani is not for you.

If all checks out, we’ll contact you to discuss further adoption arrangements such as transportation. Transport costs will apply in addition to the pet’s adoption fee, which varies depending on the animal.
