Meet Nola
Introducing Nola!
This pretty little lady was found roaming at a gas station in a rural part of Louisiana. As fate would have it the director of the rescue just happened to pull into this exact gas station while on a work trip. Nola jumped into the car and that was that. It appears that she was shaved (except for the end of her tail) and then dumped. When her fur grows back, she is going to be super fluffy.
Nola is what we like to lovingly call a stage 5 clinger. She always wants to be near her person. We expect it's because she doesn't want to be abandoned again, which is heartbreaking. Nola is as sweet as they come. She loves all dogs and people and is a total snuggle bug. She is already doing great with potty and kennel training and is super smart. We expect that she is around 4 months old and only weighs 27lbs. Because of this we think she will be on the smaller side for a husky.
She is a medium energy pup and we'd love to find her a active family that is committed to continuing training and taking her on adventures. If you think that is with you apply today!
