Noble Labrador Retriever woodridge, IL

Hello, my name is Noble and I am a Black Lab mix. I am 5-6 years of age and I was found as a stray down south. My Treasured Animal Rescue angel opened her heart and home to me. Isn't that nice? I just missed all that awful cold weather! I like it here because it is warm and I get all the food I want! If there is a doggie heaven this is it!
I am a chill guy. I am just on the quiet side and I love to "hang out" I am a people person (or dog) so I love to be with my humans just relaxing. I also like my crate, it gives me comfort to be in there. They say that dogs are like wolves and that we love our dens. My crate is my den and I love it! You are welcome to come visit me anytime.
I have a little but of arthritis but I love to run. A nice long walk is also just fine with me. My foster mom thinks that a nice fenced yard would be good for me. I am also a gentleman and I know to do my "business" outside. I can tell my foster mom when I have to go out, and I also let her know when it is time for me to come in. My favorite thing is the human touch and I am happiest when someone is rubbing my head, massaging my ears or just scratching my belly. I also like to lay really close to you so that I can feel your heartbeat next to mine. I don't want you to go away like everyone else in my life! A nice quiet home would be perfect for me.
TAR took me to the doctor for my checkup and she said that I was heartworm positive but my foster mom told me: Don't worry you pretty little head about that young man, TAR's doctors will take care of all that stuff and you will be just as new!
So.. I am ready for my forever home. I promise that I will be by your side every day of my life. I will be there to greet you with kisses when you come home and I will sit by your side helping you relax! We can chill together. Come meet me, I'll be your best buddy.

Don't let heart worm decease stop you from adopting this sweet guy. TAR will cover the cost of the treatment at one of our dedicated vets. Noble will begin his treatment in March and will require restricted activity until he is cleared by the doctor.
