Kato is now in NJ living in a foster home with pugs, a dobie and a husky and he gets along with all of them. He is also living with a family with grandchildren visiting all the time so he is used to kids. Kato is sweet and kind and loving and is waiting for his perfect forever home. He is 15-18 months old and weighs about 10#. We are not sure of the breed but his body is shaped like and Italian greyhound and he is low shedding and has soft medium length hair.


Note from foster mum: "Kato is really very sweet. He's was a bit shy and timid the first day but he's a new dog now, running around and playing with the other dogs here. Here loves to be cuddled. He likes any kind of attention even being brushed. Kato is a very sweet boy who is shy upon meeting new people. However, once he knows you he is very out going. He is on the potty routine of his foster siblings and has had no accidents in the house. Kato gets along with the two large and three small dogs in his foster home and other guest dogs. He is approximately 18 months old and weighs about 11 lbs. He is believed to be terrier/Italian greyhound mix. He is very fast and a FULLY FENCED YARD is strongly recommended -- no off leash. Kato also is good with children - foster parents' grandchildren over almost daily (11, 2 1/2, and 6 months) but we would prefer no kids under 5. Kato loves being a lap and bed dog but will sleep in his dog bed also, no crate needed.

Please note the breed is a guess - we have no idea what he is. He has very tiny feet and long legs so I think he may have Italian greyhound or Whippet in him. He is a low shedder and his coloring is grey/silver. He has big, round dark eyes. We would suggest a FULLY FENCED YARD and children over 5, since he is so small. He gets along fine with other dogs and cats.
