Nitty Greyhound Bondurant, IA

Nitty is 2 year old brindle female that is settling wonderfully into retirement. She is a sweet and loving girl with an adorable helicopter tail! Nitty has been recovering in her foster home from a broken leg but everything has been going well with her recovery so far!

Nitty still has a lot of pup left in her and would do best in a home without small children. She can be mouthy when she plays but her foster mom is working with her on that.

Nitty would do best with another greyhound in the home as she takes her cues from her greyhound foster brother and likes to cuddle with him. While Nitty has tested initially tested cat safe but it would be best to have her meet any small animals in the home.

Nitty loves all toys but really loves her Wubba! She is also somewhat of a velcro dog and likes to be close to her foster mom and she isn't afraid to tell you when she is not receiving enough attention!




This dog is being fostered in the Des Moines Area. We do not ship dogs. Adopters must be committed to meeting the dog in the area it is being fostered.

The adoption fee for HGA is $300.00. This fee pays for medical costs including spay/neuter surgery, shots, parasite treatments, teeth cleaning, microchip and microchip registration fee. Each dog also comes with a special sighthound collar and leash set and muzzle. There is a $25 non-refundable application fee that is applied to an approved adoption.
