Nina German Shepherd Dog & Shiba Inu Mix Yorkville, IL

Sweet Nina is LOVING this weather-now that the monsoon is on pause-lol! She had lived with a family that left her alone up to 12 hours a day so now that she has access to playtime, dog buddies and loads of outdoor time she is taking it all in. Nina is just 6 years old and 35 pounds, so not a very big girl, but just the right size to jump in the car and head out for a hike. She is very lady like and has perfect manners in the house, never and accident and does not chew. She gets along great with the little dogs but is a little intimidated by the larger in your face dogs that are trying to get her to play. She is very excitable about cats so she will need to be in a cat free home. Nina can be a little shy meeting new people so would do best in a home that will be patient with her and let her settle in, she just needs a little time to figure you out and feel safe. Nina will do great in a home with a family that has plenty of time to spend with her, maybe a person that works out of the home, she is a very peaceful, quiet companion. She will be better with older children, little ones maybe be a bit to excitable for Nina. Her adoption fee is $225, please email Kristine at joysparrows@gmail.com.
