Meet Nina
Hello! My name is Nina!
I hear my foster parents' say I am a 2 year old, Shepherd mix, I am not certain what that means, but I do know I am an energetic dog that loves to play with other dogs (small and large). I have not been around a cat since coming to Manhattan but the shelter said I am not feline friendly. I am good with kids but would like older ones that I will not knock over when I try to give them hugs and kisses. My foster family has an abundance of toys and bones to chew on and I love it, they also give me plenty of belly rubs!
I know how to use the bathroom outside. I also know how to sit and can kennel on command. I am trusted to sleep in the bedroom at night and love to lay at the very end.
When they bring me to public events, I get a little nervous. I hear my current family talk about the possibility that I was abused by a man in the past, but of course I have no way to tell them my history. This being said, that could be why I am nervous particularly around men. I do warm up quickly, in fact the man in my current house is very nice and I like to cuddle with him. I will need someone to continue to work with me.
I have been patiently waiting for my forever home. Will that be you? I would love to meet you!
Love,
Nina ?
