Meet Niko
As of 2-1-21 Niko is 10 weeks old.
He was seen being dumped out of a moving car. Thankfully, the person witnessing it stopped and picked him up.
Niko has a purple tongue so we believe he is a Chow mix. We don’t have any history on him and don’t know what his parents look like so he very well could be a mix. Here is what we know:
- Niko has been seen by a vet, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. All appears to be healthy.
- He is WIDE OPEN ALL THE TIME! Niko will require an experienced home that will properly train his energy.
- Niko would prefer to have another dog or two in the home for playmates.
- He is OBSESSED with the snow and enjoys spending time playing in it.
- Niko is NOT a snuggle bug. If you are a couch potato and want a dog to lounge around, move on to the next dog please. (Do not use Niko has your excuse to “get off the couch and exercise”. We want a pro!)
- Yes, he is fluffy. Yes, he’s freaking adorable. Yes, we are going to get hundreds of applicants just based on looks alone who won’t read this posting. We are going to be VERY picky on who gets this dog.
Niko WILL NOT go to apartment renters, someone without another dog or someone without a fenced yard. We will require proof of this. We are not normally this picky but we know the demand and what is best for Niko and giving this sweet boy the home he needs and deserves is what we are here for.
