Nikki Shepherd & Beagle Mix Closter, NJ

Nikki may be a bit of a mystery when it comes to her breed, but there’s no doubt she’s absolutely adorable. This sweet 4-year-old girl weighs about 30 pounds and is fully vetted, ready for her forever home. Found as a stray and rescued from a Texas shelter, Nikki has proven to be a resilient and loving dog. She’s a little shy around men at first, but with patience, she warms up and shows her affectionate side. Nikki adores kids and gets along well with other dogs. Whether she’s out for a walk, doing zoomies, or happily rolling in the grass, Nikki’s playful spirit will bring joy to any home. If you’re looking for a loyal and sweet companion, Nikki is ready to meet you!

ADOPTION PROCESS:

1. You must begin our adoption process by applying to adopt on clawsadopt.org. Please do NOT inquire via Petfinder, social media messengers or in our comments. We will only be looking at applications!

2. Please make sure you fill out our adoption application COMPLETELY. We may not be able to respond to applications that are not completely filled out with the proper information. Side note: on our applications, the more details you provide = the better.

3. We prefer applicants live within 60 miles of Closter, NJ. (Applicants who live farther away may still apply. However, please note we do prioritize local applications as we try our best to serve our local community first.)

4. Please respect our organization, our volunteers and our process. As a reminder, our organization is a nonprofit. We receive no money from the state. We have no paid employees! This is a polite reminder that we are doing our best to make the right decisions for the animals in our care. Thank you.
